NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WVEC) — If you want to fight, you’ve got to be fit. It’s as simple as that. But sometimes that’s easier said than done.

Today at Fort Eustis, an important step towards creating a leaner, meaner fighting machine.

“The Army Wellness Center is not only a resource for our soldiers and our patients,” said Lieutenant Colonel¬†¬† Vincent Meyers, Director of the McDonald Army Health Center. “It’s a game changer for Fort Eustis.”

And, while the former Bachelor’s Officer’ Quarters may not be much to look at from the outside, it’s what’s inside that counts.
